Or in a distant village where the network has not yet come, and you have to make an urgent call or payment from there, then now you will not have to roam around searching for signal, and all this is possible with BSNL’s new Satellite-to-Device service.
BSNL has launched this satellite service with the help of a California company – Viasat, that too after doing a lot of testing so that the service can be good. So whether you have gone to some far away mountain or forest, or live in a distant village, you will get such service from BSNL, which till now was limited only to the government or military.
With the help of this service, you can also make emergency calls, SoS messages, and UPI payments when your mobile internet or Wi-fi fails. Airtel and Jio.
According to Viasat, all this is possible with the help of Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN), in which Geostationary L-Band Satellite is used 36000 kilometers away from the earth.
We will still have to wait a little longer for this service, because many things are yet to be known from BSNL, which will be known in the coming time.
